cosmic dusk

           do not shy away from the light, we were never really alone

            let go of the shine for it's only a materialistic seed dying

            comfort in silence for this day happened light years ago

             they have arrived in vast numbers i tell you my friend

                          ...think i will wear the blue one today*

i still wander in disbelief as how they left
remembering them shouting "there is safety in numbers!!!"
my feet moved on regardless of their foolish thoughts
... and for the most part i kept repeating "there is stupidity in numbers"
take me home to the fields,
... there is a song in the breeze i long
